Q: We are due to sail on Ventura on 28th September with mixed feeling, as we have only sailed on Oceana before which we loved. Can anyone tell me if there is a resturant open for lunch or afternoon tea went we board,

The buffet restaurant is open all afternoon on the day you board. Go with an open mind and you'll enjoy it.

At least one of the main restaurants is open every day for waiter served breakfast , lunch , afternoon tea and of course,dinner.Some people prefer this to taking meals at the buffet.
