Q: Anyone any tips on excursions going to Lisbon, Madeira and the Canaries? Have been to Madeira before but none of the other destinations. Would prefer to do 'own thing' if possible? Will we miss out if we do this?

We docked at Lisbon last year and took the open topped bus from the centre. It was so cheap and the bus took you all round Lisbon.Worth every penny!!

Suggest you check out a website with many useful tips of what to do in each port - not allowed to post it here but if you look hard enough you may see it..
