Q:
Hi, I wonder if anyone out there can give me some idea of what the weather might be like in the Canaries/Madeira in November as I have booked a cruise for that time of year for '09 but am now wondering if a different time of year might be more sensible. I'm not a sun-worshipper but don't like rain either - I'd just like it if it was nice! Thank you in advance. Regards - Janet

November... not the best or driest month to be in the Canaries or Madeira, wet and warm will fit the bill as a rule. But... it is the getting there and back which will probably give you the worst weather. Sorry to be a Job's comforter. ... Neil
