Two New Winter Cruises From P&O

P&O Cruises have this week announced the introduction of two new winter cruises to the Caribbean from Southampton – departing in 2010 on Oriana.

The first cruise (thirty-six nights) leaves Southampton on 8th January 2010, sailing to St.Lucia, Barbados, Santo Tomas de Castilla, Limon and Montego. Princes will start at £2,499 pp. The second cruise (thirty-five nights) departs on 13th February 2010 and visits over thirteen ports in the Caribbean and US, with prices starting at £2,499 pp.

P&O Cruises’ managing director Nigel Esdale said, “These new holidays will offer UK holidaymakers a more leisurely and relaxing way to escape the British winter and visit warmer climes. They should be highlighted to customers who want a
Caribbean holiday without having to set foot on an aeroplane, and who want a lengthy break from the British winter but who can’t be away for such a long period of time as a world voyage.”

I am booked to sail on both cruises. I am surprised how much the price has gone up since the brochure came out. I have not got the cabin position I would like but after 12 World cruises I look forward to no visas.Generally speaking it is a good idea and I will still vounteer to run the whist drive.
