Just returned and have to say that we are disappointed. Began well with quick, efficient check in at Barbados. Suite with balcony, beautiful. Spoiled by smokers on adjacent, forward balcony who seemed to spend the majority of their 2 weeks holiday pursuing their hobby thus making our balcony untenable. Food in main restaurant OK majority of time but similar dishes offered every 3 days. Vegetarian menu same each evening consisted of 5 items, mainly pasta, and had to be ordered 12 hours in advance??? Outings in Aruba and Limon excellent with friendly guides. Main reason for cruise was the transit of Panama Canal which was wonderful, despite not being able to use our private balcony. Shows average.Crew were very friendly and helpful.Needs more varied menus and more interesting ports of call. Interior of ship needs cosmetic work, looking a little shabby.

I was also on this cruise and have to say that I was most disappointed with the standard of the food. It was very, very poor. I have never had beef before that had to be returned because of the fat content in it. Every meal there was something wrong whether it was the starter, main course or desert. The worst was the creme bruile without the bruile! Never again with P&O, Never again

We had a fantastic time - well done to Commodore Burgoyne and all his crew. Food was good (the mussels were small) but the restuarant service could be improved! The cabins were sizeable and clean, our steward was excellant and daily kept our ice bucket filled. We cannot comment on the excursions as we find they are expensive,so we do our own thing.Guatemala and Pacific Mexican resorts are up and coming for the cruise lines, we loved them, must go back in 5-6 years time. Panama transit - what can you say - it was amazing and all accompanied by an excellant commentary from the cruise director.Well done Arcadia - see you for Christmas and New Year 200
