Just returned on 5/7/08 from the Arcadia cruise to Norway and Spitzbergan. It was most enjoyable the cabin was good but smelt of smoke. The staff sorted it out and were most helpfuf even changing the curtains!!!
Food was a bit limited and too 'British', perhaps that is what people want. The Arcadian Rhodes restaurant was very good.
Embarkation was slow, I think a lot of people turned up early as the ship was sailing early, due to mechanical problems. That was the one thing which spoilt matters asthe ships anchor stuck at Andalsnes, we were 7 hours late sailing to Bergen
which meant only 3 hours there.
A good experience overall, we booked the World Cruise for 2009 on board.
Quality of Food2
Could be better in the Meridian restaurant and more tables in the Belvidere self service.
Entertainment2
Have seen better, it seems the entertainers are now on a circuit of Carnival ships. Stage shows good apart from the singing.

Staff5
Excellent staff with a genuine effort to please by every memer of staff we met.
Children's Facilitiesn/a
Onboard Activities1
Reduced daytime lectures to what there used to be and the qualty of the speakers was limited.
Cabins5
Balcony was excellent. Quitest ship we have ever travelled on.
