Apprehensive about cruising never having tried it before but now totally hooked.
After some delay in actually getting on the ship we settled into our cabin which was reasonably spacious.
Everything about the cruise we loved. We were booked into the first sitting in the Meridian Restaurant. The staff were very attentive and efficient and there was a good choice. We found the entertainment brilliant - loved the Headliners and Tucker(comedian) was amusing. Chose to eat breakfast and lunch in the Belvedere and we were surprised at the wide choice of food. Imprressed with the hygiene and general cleanliness. We were pleased that we only booked for two half day shore excusions because you could see a lot yourself at a fraction of the price! Enjoyed a swim and a talk by Tommy Doherty. Pleased that drinks prices were not a 'rip off' ! Want to go again - brilliant service all round!
