Joining the cruise was so easy, free parking, the staff were very efficient and we went from car to ship very quickly – very impressed.
The staff on board were very friendly and helpful, we dined in the Adriatic and our waiters and wine waitress were excellent – looked after us very well.
Our cabin was clean , good size and plenty of hanging space. It was really nice to have a balcony, my brother had a cabin next to us and we were able to open the balcony door while we were in port, which opened up the space considerably. Was nice to have tea & coffee facilities and all the lovely creams etc put in the bathroom.
Personally, I found the trips rather expensive – our Lisbon trip for the morning (about 3 hours) was £45 each for a coach & tram trip. On this trip our coach guide was good, unfortunately on the tram we could not understand what our Portuguese guide was saying..
When in Vigo I did have a lovely trip to Santiago de Compostela. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and her English was excellent.
While we were in Lanzerote we went to Costa Tequise, this was a 10 minute ride in a taxi.from where the ship was docked, the cost was10 Euros, which is the standard price.
This is a very nice beach area, and that particular day we had good weather.
Nothing P&O can do about the weather but was disappointing for May/June.
The evening entertainment was excellent, Headliners were fantastic and I could have seen them every night! Roy Walker was very funny, we laughed through the whole show, all very good.
All in all a very good holiday, as I work full time I wanted to have some “chill out” time which I did.
What I didn’t like was the pressure to spend, spend, spend from the moment you stepped on the ship!

| Quality of Food | |
| The Starters and Desserts were the best - Main meals, fishy ones were good but found the meat very tough. | | Entertainment | |
| Headliner's were great, Roy Walker also very funny - they were the best, all other evening entertainment was good. | | Shore Excursions | |
| Liked Madiera, was very pretty. Could not have done this trip without going to Santiago de Compostela - really enjoyed this one. My least favorite was Leisurely Teneriffe. | | Staff | |

| I didn't think the day activities were particularly good to suit my choice. The Thompson cruise I went on was a lot more fun. | | Cabins | |
