1st time on a cruise, started very poorly with a five hour delay with thomas cook.there was no information how long we would be delayed,no vouchers for food or drink,no representative for any questions.when we finally boarded the leg room was none existant, more like sardines.drinks on board were complmentary but the cabin crew only came round once on a eight hour flight.thats the bad news.we found oceana superb.the cabins were always clean, the staff were always friendly the food was excellent.the service in the restaraunts was very professional.evening entertainment was not to our liking but all the shows were full.each day the captain or another crew member would keep you fully informed of the days itinary.for passengers leaving the ship the information was clear and easy to understand, and was repeated numerous times.of all the islands we visited we had our favourates antigua st maarten and grand cayman comming out on top.the only dissapointment was the catamaran sailaway on mayreau.due to rough seas we were unable to get off the ship.the captain made up for the poor weather be sailing to granada for the day.we both enjoyed our time on oceana and would not hesitate to book again with p&o but not with thomas cook
